Have you ever ordered crystals online and they arrived in the mail and it didn't look anything like the picture. Or it wasn't shiny or it was a weird shape or size and it wasn't what you were expecting and then you felt sad? Well when I sell crystals that's the last experience that I want my customers to have. I want people to be delighted when they open their box from Dark North and not bummed out.
When you buy crystals from my shop I always take my time to make sure everybody is getting a " good one" of what they ordered. And of course crystals are natural so they're all going to be slightly different and they're not going to be perfect. But I think of the customer and really try to use my intuition. I never give people the leftovers.
When I buy crystals in bundles to resell, there's often odd ones in there that might not look like the others. There's nothing wrong with them, but it's not something that I would send out without somebody choosing. Often, I bring these pieces when I do live events so that the people who love them can choose them on their own. But mostly online, I choose the crystal for you.
I thought it might be fun to start selling crystal misfit packs. Maybe it's a strange color or it has a weird mark on it. Or it's not quite the right shape. Maybe it's just kind of boring looking compared to the other ones. Also a lot of times I have like the last one of a lot and I'd rather just send it on its way.
If you purchase a crystal misfit pack, you're going to get 10 to 15 crystals, mostly smaller sizes. Maybe a bracelet or a pendulum or something like that. They're all going to be really unique crystals or maybe something that has a tiny bit of damage and you're going to get a super discount on them. The picture I posted is an example and will be the first crystal misfit pack that I sent out.
You can see in the picture I have a kambaba palm stone that's their only because it's really small. I have a septarian palm zone that's only there because it's mostly yellow as opposed to the other ones have more of a pattern. I have a yellow calcite which has a weird eye on it. That's actually pretty cool. I have a pendulum that's just the last of its kind. I have one cracked stone, one chipped stone, one little rose quartz that just has an iron inclusion so there's nothing wrong with it. It's just different. And then I have a kyanite broom that just doesn't really look like a broom.
