One of my absolute favorite stones is calcite. It comes in a variety of colors, similar to quartz. Calcite is different. However, it is a soothing calming stone. While it looks like quartz, it actually has an interesting almost waxy feel.
Calcite is said to completely cleanse your aura and act like a vacuum cleaner to suck out all the negativity and stress. It is also an anti-anxiety stone and is very calming to use in meditation, before sleep, for travel, etc.
Here I have orange calcite palm stones. Magically speaking, Orange is the color of physical healing so it has that added benefit. Then I have icy lemon calcite cubes. These are kind of in between a palmstone and a regular mini tumble size. They're really fun to hold.
Yellow is particularly useful when working with the crown chakra or connecting to your higher self.
Strawberry calcite is an emotional healer similar to other pink stones. It can help with grief and fear.
